This photograph, from 2019, was part of the project, The Home Seekers, about the Sudanese refugees in Cairo, who are estranged from their context and therefore must look inward in search of a ‘home’. Many have migrated in the past years to Egypt looking for a better life and education; some escaped the wave of conflicts and wars in different places in Sudan.
